Engineered quartz made to look like Calacatta marble: a white ground with warm gold and gray veining. You give up the depth and slight translucency of real marble. In exchange the surface is non-porous, never needs sealing, will not etch from acid, and looks the same on the last slab as on the first.

Manufactured: consistent, but batched
Engineered surfaces are made to a pattern, so two slabs from one batch are close to identical. Batches still differ. Order everything you need at once; a later order will be a different batch and may not match.

Screens vary. These photographs are unedited and ungraded, but the only accurate way to judge a stone is to stand in front of it.
