These terms cover your use of this website. They are short, because this site is a shop window rather than a shop: it sells nothing, takes no payment, and holds no accounts.

By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. We may update them from time to time, and the date at the top of this page tells you when the wording last changed.

What this website is

This site describes KLZ Stone Supply Inc., the materials we stock, and how to come and see them. It is informational. Nothing on it is an offer to sell, a quotation, or a commitment that any particular slab is available. Prices are not published here, because stone is quoted per job — call the yard or send us a note and we will quote you.

Our live slab inventory is not part of this website. It runs on a separate system, and following the Slab Inventory link takes you there, under whatever terms that system carries.

About the stone you see here

This one is worth reading properly, because it is the difference between a happy project and a disappointed one.

Every photograph on this site is of real stone we have had in the building. But natural stone is a geological object, not a manufactured product: no two slabs from the same block are identical, and no two blocks from the same quarry are either. Veining, movement, colour and background all vary from slab to slab. On top of that, a photograph flattens stone — it cannot carry depth, translucency or the way a surface changes as you walk past it — and every screen renders colour differently from every other screen.

So the images here show you what a material is like. They do not show you the slab you will receive, and we make no warranty that any slab will match a photograph, a sample, or another slab. Stock changes constantly. The only way to choose stone is to stand in front of the actual slabs and approve the ones you want, which is exactly why the yard is open to the public and why we hold what we sell. Come and look.

Care advice on this site, including our care and maintenance guidance, is general information about materials rather than instructions for your particular installation. For a specific surface, ask us or ask your fabricator.

Our photography and content

The photographs on this site were commissioned and paid for by us, in our building, of our stone. Along with the text, the design, the layout and our name and marks, they are the property of KLZ Stone Supply Inc. and are protected by copyright and trade mark law.

You are welcome to view the site, and to print or save pages for your own reference or to share with your fabricator, designer or client for a project you are working on. That is what it is here for.

What you may not do, without our written permission:

  • Copy our photographs onto another website, listing, catalogue, social account or marketing material — including to advertise stone you are selling.
  • Present our photographs as your own inventory, your own showroom, or your own work.
  • Scrape, harvest or bulk-download the site or its images by any automated means.
  • Reproduce our name, logo or marks in a way that suggests we endorse or supply you when we do not.

If you would like to use an image — trade partners often do, and we are usually glad to say yes — just ask at info@klzstone.com.

Using the site properly

Please do not attempt to interfere with the site, gain access to parts of it that are not public, overload it, or use it to send anything unlawful. Ordinary use is all we ask for.

Links to other sites

We link to our slab inventory system, to our sister companies, and to map and directions services. Those are separate businesses and separate systems. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their content, their availability, or how they handle your information — for which see our Privacy Policy.

No warranty

This website is provided as it is. We take care to keep it accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or complete, and stock information in particular ages quickly. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement in respect of this website.

Nothing here affects any warranty or agreement covering stone you actually buy from us. That is a separate matter, agreed separately, and these terms do not limit it.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KLZ Stone Supply Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from your use of this website, or from your inability to use it. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, in which case the limitations above apply only as far as that jurisdiction permits.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law rules, and the courts of Dallas County, Texas will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
