About granite

Dense and even-grained. It handles heat, frost, and heavy traffic, which is why it is used for countertops, stair treads, and facades.

What is the difference between granite and quartz?

Granite is natural, heat-tolerant, unique to each slab, and needs sealing. Quartz is engineered, non-porous, uniform, and less heat-tolerant. Granite's minerals rate 6 and 7 on the Mohs scale.
