Distortion
Distortion is a marble quarried in Brazil, held in full slabs at our Dallas showroom. We rack it in 3cm.
Softer than granite or quartzite. It takes a deep polish and it scratches, so it suits vanities, walls and fireplaces better than a busy kitchen.
Variation
Natural stone: every slab is different
This is quarried material. Color, veining and movement vary from slab to slab and from bundle to bundle, and no two are the same. The photograph shows one slab and is not the range. Pick the actual slabs off the rack, and take everything your job needs from the same bundle. a later order will be a different block and will not match.

Screens vary. These photographs are unedited and ungraded, but the only accurate way to judge a stone is to stand in front of it.
